 Cara
Skeat is the Director of Student Life. Cara holds a Master of Arts in Education with a focus on
Higher Education and Student Affairs from Virginia
Polytechnic Institute and State University as well as a
Bachelor of Arts from Guilford College. She is
currently pursuing a doctorate in Student Affairs
Administration from the University of Georgia. |

 Brenda
Adams is the Coordinator of Student Life. She
graduated from GSC and went on to complete her BA
through the college's program in conjunction with North
Georgia College & State University. She advises
the Campus Activities Board and the Second Wind group
for non-traditional students, as well as providing
programming for night students.

Nancy
Mattson is the Student Life Administrative Assistant.
She coordinates room reservations in the Student
Activities Building, is instrumental in the
administration of the Co-Curricular Transcript and SOAR
Programs, and handles all incoming phone calls and
visitors.

 Jasun Pina is the Game Room Manager.
As the building is in transition during the
construction of our new addition, you may
find the Game Room in the rear hallway of
the building. Jasun works hard to figure out
how students can relax even in the middle of
construction! |
 Ruth Mancari is the Student
Activities Night Manager. From 5 pm until
8:30 pm during the fall and spring
semesters, and until 7 pm in the summers,
you may find Ruth at our front desk
answering the phone, helping customers,
making IDs, and more. Ruth is also
instrumental in various task such as
preparing for SOAR sessions and keeping the
office running in the evenings! |
